Davido who had sessions with Focalistic while in Nigeria delivers an outstanding remix to one of the biggest songs ‘Ke Star‘; which has millions of streams on YouTube.

The Vigro Deep-produced number, ‘Ke Star‘ was certified Gold in South Africa late last year and it was on Focalistic previous groundbreaking project, ‘Blacke‘ EP.

Last year, Focalistic was one of the biggest Amapiano artists in Africa as his record pushed him to the limelight. He also concluded the year with “Sghubu Ses Excellent” album.

The video was shot at Tarkwa Bay Beach, Lagos Nigeria and directed by Dammy Twitch.

Focalistic was born on May 28, 1996 in Pretoria.He grew up in Grankuwa and relocated to Midrand then later to Pretoria.His father had passed away when he was in Grade 9.He had been nicknamed Maradona as he love to play soccer while growing up.

Focalistic describes his kind of music as “Pina tsa Ko Kasi” which sees the singer infusing his hip hop rots with Amapiano.He does not consider himself as a rapper but as one who just enjoy making music.

The rapper obtained a degree in Political Science from the University of Pretoria in 2017.

Focalistic began music professionally in 2017.He has been able to develop his passion for music with influences from the likes of T.I, MoJava, Kuli Chana and Hugh Masekela.

He got signed to Major League Music in 2018 where he released his first single “19 Tobetsa”
